Spring is upon us along the Mississippi river. We have had exceptionally warm weather with no snow in March for the first time since they started keeping records. Easter was on my Mother's birthday this year so we celebrated at her place with a nice ham dinner. After dinner Isaac and I went down to Lake Onalaska for a couple of hours to see if the bass are active. The water temp is already 58 degrees on the lake and the bass are responding well to ring worms and jigs. We boated a couple dozen bass and a couple of bonus jumbo sheephead along the tracks as well.
